Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients
Marinade
- 5 Tbsp tamari
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp corn starch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Stir Fry
- 1 pound sirloin steak cut into bite size pieces
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 carrot chopped
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup sugar snap peas
- 2 cups Nappa cabbage shredded
- 3 green onions chopped
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 cup beef stock
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce

Instructions
- Combine marinade ingredients in a Ziploc bag. Shake to mix well. Add beef and let marinate at least 1 hour (longer is better).
- In a small bowl, combine corn starch, brown sugar, beef stock, and soy sauce. Stir to dissolve corn starch and mix well.
- Drain marinade from beef.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add garlic and beef and stir fry until the beef is no longer pink. Remove from skillet.
- Add all the vegetables except the cabbage. Stir fry until tender. Add cabbage and stir fry for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add beef back to the skillet along with the green onions and beef stock mixture. Stir to combine.
- Continue to stir fry for an additional 1 – 2 minutes until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and serve over brown rice.
