Welcome to Fueled by Flavor! I’m Don and this food blog is about providing healthy recipes that are full of flavor.

My wife Laura and I love good food, good wine, and traveling. We are runners (my wife is also a triathlete), so we are always trying to balance our love of food with eating healthy and fueling our physical activities.

Our cooking style is a cross between the Paleo and Mediterranean diets, with no eggs and restricted use of dairy (cow) due to food sensitivities.

Eating healthy doesn’t have to be difficult or time consuming. Most of my recipes use just a handful of ingredients and are simple to prepare. Start with whole ingredients and add plenty of flavor. After all, there are only so many baked chicken breasts a person can eat!
