  1. Season diced steak with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried basil. Rub seasonings into the meat and set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a deep skillet.
  3. Add diced ham, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté until mushrooms are cooked, stiring frequently.
  4. Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a separate skillet.
  5. Sauté steak until no longer pink.
  6. Add cooked steak to mushrooms and mix well. Stir in green onions and remove from heat.
  7. Serve over rice.
